 Observed annually on the last Monday in May, Memorial Day is set aside to honor the men and women who have died in service to our country. While Memorial Day didn’t become an official national holiday until 1971, its origins begin with the Civil War.

Le journal Sud Ouest a repéré l'avis de décès, paru mi-avril, de l'actrice que l'on a pu voir au côté de Sophie Marceau dans La Boum 2 mais aussi dans le thriller Mortelle randonnée. C'est une nouvelle qui était passée inaperçue et pourtant, le 13 avril, l'actrice  Patricia Millardet  est décédée d'une crise cardiaque à Rome en Italie. La comédienne avait 63 ans. Le grand public la connaissait surtout pour ses rôles dans La Boum 2 (1982) où elle donnait la réplique à Sophie Marceau, mais aussi pour Mortelle randonnée (1983), thriller dans lequel elle était dirigée par Claude Miller au même titre qu'Isabelle Adjani et Michel Serrault. On avait également pu la voir à l'occasion d'une brève apparition dans la sitcom phare d'AB Productions Hélène et les garçons en 1992. Rams unveil new uniforms with classic colors

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The  Los Angeles Rams  unveiled new uniforms Wednesday, putting a modern aesthetic on their classic horned helmets and traditional color scheme ahead of their move into SoFi Stadium this year. Two of the Rams' three new uniform looks are broadly similar to their primary royal-blue-and-yellow uniform from 1973-99. But there are several surprising touches added to an overall look that's still wildly popular with California fans who stayed loyal to the franchise during its 21-year sojourn in St. Louis. The Rams have added distinct creases to the horn on their famous blue helmets, which now have a metallic sheen. The horns circling the shoulders of their royal-blue jerseys also have the crease, echoing the style of the new team logos unveiled earlier in the spring. La Bundesliga reprend, un crash-test scruté de près par le football mondial

FOOTBALL - Si le championnat de Biélorussie est rapidement devenu l’attraction footballistique du confinement - et notamment des parieurs -, car il ne s’est pas arrêté durant la pandémie de  coronavirus , les fans de ballon rond vont pouvoir se tourner à partir de ce week-end vers un championnat d’un tout autre calibre. La Bundesliga est en effet le premier grand championnat européen à reprendre ce samedi 16 mai, avec notamment le prestigieux derby de la Ruhr entre Dortmund et Schalke (15h30), alors que la Premier League (Angleterre), la Liga (Espagne) et la Serie A (Italie) réfléchissent toujours à une date de retour, et que la Ligue 1 (France)  a jeté l’éponge depuis fin avril .
